Rhythm-Quest Performance Ensemble

The Rhythm-Quest Performance Ensemble was founded at Woodlawn Arts Academy in Sterling, Illinois, in the fall of 2007. The percussion and color guard units moved to Rock Falls High School in the fall of 2009. Rhythm-Quest participants play percussion instruments such as drums and marimba, along with guitar/bass, keyboard and a variety of other items that may or may not traditionally be known as instruments!

Rhythm-Quest starts at the end of the first semester of the school year, with live performances in February (Showcase and Percussion Palooza), along with the annual St. Patrick's Day and Petunia Festival Parades in Dixon. The Performance Ensemble also performs at the Rock Falls High School winter and spring concerts.
